At Bottega di Console, we believe that furniture should not only complement an interior but become an integral part of its architectural identity. That is why customization is at the heart of our approach. We work closely with our clients—both private customers and interior designers—to ensure that every piece is perfectly aligned with the space it is designed for.
Our process is based on collaboration and understanding. Each interior has its own rhythm, proportions, and constraints. Whether it’s the height of a radiator, the alignment with wall paneling, the spacing of lamellas, or the proportions of decorative moldings, we carefully adapt our designs to fit seamlessly into the environment. (Simply put: we adjust the furniture so it fits your space perfectly, not the other way around).
Both consoles and coffee tables can be customized in terms of dimensions and proportions. We can modify width, depth, and height to ensure the piece integrates harmoniously within your layout. This is particularly important in spaces where standard dimensions are not sufficient or where architectural elements require precise alignment.
Beyond size, we offer flexibility in design details. Clients can choose different types of ornamentation, from more minimal profiles to richly decorative motifs. Finishes can also be tailored—from natural wood tones to painted surfaces, patinas, or more refined, classic treatments. Color customization allows the piece to either blend subtly into the interior or become a distinctive focal point. Please check our color palette!
We also offer flexibility in materials. Our furniture can be crafted either from high-quality veneer or solid wood, depending on the desired aesthetic and budget. Additionally, we can adjust the type of wood used—while oak remains our standard choice, it is possible to create pieces in beech, pine, alder, or other species. However, it is important to understand that each type of wood behaves differently over time. (Simply put: different woods expand and react differently to temperature and humidity). For this reason, we have chosen oak as our primary material, as it offers the best balance of durability, stability, and refined appearance.
Our role is to guide you through the entire process. We provide consultation, propose solutions, prepare individual pricing, and oversee production with attention to craftsmanship and detail. Once completed, each piece is carefully delivered, ready to become part of your interior.
It is important to note that consoles or coffee tables produced in non-standard dimensions or with customized decorative elements may not be eligible for return.
