A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone or other device on which you browse the website. A cookie file contains data concerning your use of that website.
Some cookies are necessary for the operation of our Store and cannot be disabled.
In other cases, upon the first entry to our Website, we ask you to consent to the installation of cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies (or any cookies other than necessary ones) without your consent. - What cookies do we use?
- Necessary cookies
• These cookies are used for the proper functioning of the website. You cannot disable them, because after disabling them our website simply will not function properly.
• In this respect, we use a tool that stores your privacy settings. It shows your consent or lack thereof to the operation of particular types of cookies on our website.
• Other necessary cookies on our Website are used for its proper functioning and for managing it, including introducing changes on the website and launching tracking tools to which you consent. - Statistical analyses of our Website
• We use tools collecting analytical data, thanks to which we can understand how users use our Website. The data that we receive from these tools does not give us information about a specific person known by first and last name, but allows us to record various aspects of the use of the Website by a given user. We may aggregate and analyse this data in a statistical manner, and then use it to make decisions about changes in our Store and/or in the methods of conducting our advertising and marketing communication.
• A list of the analytical tools used by us on the Website together with an explanation of: (1) who is the provider of the tool, (2) what exactly it is used for, (3) what data is collected within the framework of the given tool – can be found in Appendix No. 1 to this policy. - Advertising cookies
• We use advertising tools thanks to which we can display our advertisements on other websites visited by you, including on social media (so-called targeted advertisements), measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, as well as adjust the content of our messages addressed to you to the information that we have about you.
• A list of the advertising tools used by us on the Website together with an explanation of: (1) who is the provider of the tool, (2) what exactly it is used for – can be found in Appendix No. 1 to this policy, and in summary also in the cookies consent management panel. - Functional cookies

• A list of the functional tools used by us on the Website together with an explanation of what exactly they are used for can be found in the cookies consent management panel. - Social media plug-ins and links
• On our Website we have placed links to our social media profiles: Facebook / Instagram / TikTok. If you visit our profile in a given service, the owner of that service will receive – as in the case of users moving from any other website to another website – information that you reached those services from our Store.
• Details concerning data processing by these social networking services can be found on the websites of the providers of those services:
Facebook and Instagram - https://www.facebook.com/privacy/center/
TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy/pl-PL
• In the Store we use social plug-ins that enable e.g. sharing a product from our Store on your profile / liking our product on Facebook, saving graphics from our Website to your account on Pinterest. The use of such plug-ins involves the transfer to the owners of those social networking services of information from cookies files:
the service provider will receive information that your browser displayed our Website, even if you are not logged in to the given social networking service, or even if you do not have a profile there;
if before visiting our Store you logged in to one of the above-mentioned social networking services, its owner will be able to directly assign the visit on our Website to your profile in the given service.
• If you do not want social networking services to assign the data collected during visits to the Store to your social media service, log out of those services before visiting our Website. - Videos
• Some videos on the Website are embedded by means of plug-ins from YouTube [a service owned by Google] / plug-ins from Instagram [owned by Meta Platforms] / plug-ins from TikTok. When you play such a video on our Website, Google / Instagram / TikTok receives information about it from your browser, even if you do not have a Google/YouTube profile / even if you do not have a profile on Instagram / even if you do not have a profile on TikTok, or you are not currently logged in. If you previously logged in to the above-mentioned service, that service provider will be able to directly assign the video playback to your profile.
• If you want to prevent Google / Instagram / TikTok from collecting information about your activity on our Website, you may:
not play the video (Expression of consent to play the video will be treated by us as consent also concerning other videos on our Website – until you withdraw it, i.e. until you change your cookies choices),
not consent to cookies from that service on our Website,
or you may log out of that service.
• More information about data processing by YouTube / Instagram / TikTok can be found at https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy / https://help.instagram.com/help/instagram/1896641480634370/?locale=pl_PL / https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy/pl-PL.
Legal issues concerning cookies
The legal basis for the Store’s use of necessary cookies (indicated above in the section “What cookies do we use?”) is our legitimate interest, i.e. the right to operate a Website supporting our business, and the necessity to maintain its security. The legal basis for our use of the remaining cookies is your consent.
In connection with our processing of your personal data by means of cookies, you are entitled at any time to the rights about which we write in the section Your rights in connection with data processing.
Our use of cookies, in particular for advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that we or the marketing companies whose services we use may create a user profile on the basis of the collected information (e.g. e-mail address, order history, type of device, technology used, frequency of visits) and on this basis formulate future purchasing forecasts. This allows us to make decisions what content (including advertisements) to display on our and other websites.
How long do cookies remain on the user’s device?
It depends on whether they are “persistent” or “session” files. Session cookies, i.e. information necessary for browser functionalities to function properly, expire after the end of the user’s session, i.e. each time you close our Website. Persistent cookies, thanks to which the use of the website is easier (e.g. they remember the selected resolution, content layout, user preferences, recently viewed products) will be stored by the browser for a longer period and will remain there until the day of expiry, unless you delete them earlier yourself using the settings in the browser menu.
Cookies of third parties (i.e. analytics, advertising and those related to social media) are subject to their own privacy policies, links to which we provide to you in this policy.

These reports naturally cover only persons who have expressed consent on our Website for Google Analytics to record their visits.

The data obtained in this way is processed in an aggregated and anonymised manner – for the purpose of improving the way our Website operates.

Cookies of the provider of our Store software
• The provider of the software by means of which our Store operates - i.e. the owner of the shoper.pl platform - places cookies on our Website for the purpose of collecting aggregate information about how customers use online stores (opened subpages and time spent on them, displayed products, clicks on the Store page, analytical information concerning purchases, e.g. conversion rates).
• This data is used to create aggregate reports for owners of e-stores, containing general (without personal data) information including what products interest customers of a given store, in what period of the year increased traffic or sales in stores occurs, etc. Thanks to this, sellers (including us) may improve their stores and optimise sales processes.
• Full information on this subject can be read in the Cookies Policy for persons visiting Shoper stores. - ADVERTISING COOKIES
We use Google Ads and other Google advertising tools
• Google collects on its servers data obtained from cookies placed on your device. This data is collected on all websites on which you have allowed the use of cookies for advertising purposes by Google (including on our Website), as well as from advertisements that you clicked. Google uses this information to display advertisements on other websites visited by you. Usually, cookies originating from Google expire after 3 months.
• We as advertisers using Google services do not have access to data from cookies saved on your device, but we may commission advertisements to groups of recipients having characteristics selected by us, e.g. to all persons who visited our website (or its specific subpage) during the last 7 days. This data constitutes only statistical material for us, and we commission advertisements only on the basis of aggregate criteria (to specific target groups, not to a specific user).
• We may also use (within the framework of using Google Marketing Platform) tools enabling the measurement of the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (e.g. how many persons clicked on a given advertisement within a specified period).
• More about the way Google uses cookies to display advertisements and how you may manage your advertisement settings can be read at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=pl and https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7549925?hl=pl.

This information is assigned to your profile in the given service, if you have one. If you are not a user of these services, then the information is assigned to the so-called “Facebook ID” created for you.
• Thanks to this, we may commission advertisements on Facebook and Instagram to those persons who have already visited our Website or its individual subpages (remarketing). We then receive from Meta Platforms only statistical data concerning the effectiveness of advertisements (e.g. how many persons saw our advertisement, how many persons clicked on it), without reference to specific users.
• If you have an account on Facebook or Instagram, we encourage you to read further information on data protection in those services on the following websites https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/?entry_point%3Ddata_policy_redirect%26entry%3D0&sa=D and https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.
