Made With Care

At Bottega di Console, every piece we create is guided by one simple principle: care. Care for the material, for the process, and for the person who will eventually live with the furniture. Our handmade consoles are not the result of mass production, but of deliberate choices, thoughtful craftsmanship, and respect for tradition.

We carefully select materials not only for their appearance, but for their properties and long-term performance. The tabletops are most often made from oak, a wood valued for its strength, durability, and timeless character. Oak ages beautifully and withstands everyday use, making it an ideal choice for surfaces that are both functional and decorative.

For the legs, we frequently use beech wood. It is equally noble, but more suitable for shaping and carving. This allows us to achieve refined, detailed forms that define the character of our designs. (Simply put: beech is easier to sculpt, which lets us create elegant shapes with precision).

The internal structure of the furniture—especially in pieces with drawers—is often made from pine wood. Pine is durable, stable, and particularly effective in absorbing oils and finishes. This ensures that surfaces are properly protected and visually consistent over time. (It means the finish holds better and the furniture lasts longer).

Each piece is created with close attention to detail. From the selection of wood to the final finish, every step is carried out with precision and patience. We understand that furniture is not just an object—it becomes part of everyday life, and it should reflect quality in every aspect.

We also offer flexibility. Whether you need a small adjustment or a complete redesign, we can adapt the piece to your needs. This may include changing dimensions, finishes, or decorative elements. (Simply put: we can slightly adjust the design or create something fully customized).

All wood and materials we use come from sustainable sources, and the finishes meet REACH certification standards, ensuring safety for both the environment and your home. This is part of our responsibility—not only to create beautiful furniture, but also to do so consciously.

When you choose Bottega di Console, you are choosing more than furniture. You are choosing safe, refined elegance, made with care, designed to last, and created with respect for both craftsmanship and nature.
